This piece was done for the annual Superman Celebration in Metropolis, Illinois. It's a "mock" Superman comic book cover which serves as a tribute of sorts to the official Superman of Metropolis, Scott Cranford. This is the colorized version done in Photoshop by my friend Chris Dierking. The color scheme was kept simple to emulate comic books of the 1970's.
