This statue of Dave Stevens' Rocketeer was my first full-size sculpture that I ever attempted! It was done shortly after the Disney Rocketeer movie came out in 1991. I met Dave Stevens at a local comic convention in Atlanta and showed him the figure in progress. He was impressed and gave me some signed prints of his.
A few weeks later, I finished the entire piece and decided to ship it off to him in LA. So, now the creator of the Rocketeer has my statue!
